Hi!  And welcome to this page.  For several years now the Village of Park Forect, Don's Hobby World in Glenwood, and Estes Corporation, sponsor the R/C Air Show and Rocket Launch.  This years show, the 3rd annual R/C Air show and Rocket Launch, was held on Saturday, July 22 at 11:00 a. m. in Park Forest's Central Park.  Below are some pictures of some of the aircraft and rockets displayed and flown at the event.  And yes that is the famous flying lawn mower that so many talk about.  Some of the members of the local model airplain flying clubs have backgrounds in engineering and come up with some great designs.  Enjoy the pictures and plan on coming out next summer for the 4th annual show.
